The Marchers process to the County Courthouse where they will celebrate the Eucharist. The sermon was delivered by Bishop Todd Ousley, Bishop of East Michigan, who reflected on his own childhood growing up in East Texas and his own feelings about being part of the privileged class. He also reflects upon Jonathan Daniels own struggle being privileged and its part in this coming to Alabama, answering Martin Luther Kings call. During the Prayers, stories were told about each of the Martyrs of Alabama and how they met their own untimely death as the result of the conflict with the southern white segregationists.
